Terms & Conditions

Terms of Service & EULA

Effective: 2026 • Independent Merchant Utility

1. Nature of Application & Scope of Service

BizNote (the "Application") is a mobile and web software tool designed to facilitate internal bookkeeping, cash flow logging, bank balance management, customer tab tracking, and daily till counting on personal mobile devices.

The Application functions strictly as an "electronic digital pocketbook" for personal management, independent merchants, retail shops, and small businesses. It DOES NOT constitute certified public accounting, official tax filing software, nor banking and financial custodial services.

2. Independent Developer & Professional Disclaimer

Important Notice

The Application is built and published by an independent software developer. The Author is NOT a certified public accountant (CPA), licensed auditor, or tax attorney.

Any calculation formulas, standard ledger layouts, or estimated tax percentages provided within the Application are technical programming simulations. They do not constitute official financial, legal, or fiscal advice. You should consult certified local professionals for tax filings and statutory reporting.

3. Local Data Responsibility & Backups

Because BizNote is built on an offline-first architecture to protect your financial confidentiality, all records reside exclusively on your physical phone.

The user bears full responsibility for maintaining regular backups of their data using the export functionality (JSON / CSV). The Developer operates no centralized backup repositories and cannot restore lost records if your device is damaged, lost, or reset without user-managed backups.

4. App License & Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use BizNote on your personal or business mobile devices for internal operational bookkeeping.

5. "AS-IS" Disclaimer

BizNote is provided strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The Developer does not warrant that the application will operate entirely uninterrupted or bug-free under all hardware conditions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss of profits, business interruption, or data discrepancies arising from the use of the Application.
