Table of Contents
1. On-Device Local Storage Commitment (Core Pillar)
We believe your business numbers, cash flow balances, margin records, and customer debts are your most sensitive private assets.
Unlike cloud accounting SaaS software requiring continuous upload of business transactions to centralized databases, BizNote operates strictly on an Offline-First foundation.
All transaction logs, sales, expense categories, receivables, payables, cash register counts, bank accounts, and attached receipt photos STAY STRICTLY ON YOUR PERSONAL DEVICE. The Developer operates NO central database servers to collect, background-sync, inspect, or monetize your business secrets.
2. Zero Remote Access by the Developer
Because the application does not establish remote database synchronization connections, the Developer CANNOT view, duplicate, or inspect any figures from your business cashbooks.
Even if you contact technical support, the Developer has no way to access your phone or view your records unless you explicitly choose to export and attach a file yourself.
3. Backup, Export & Complete Data Ownership
You retain 100% exclusive ownership of your data at all times. BizNote provides built-in tools allowing you to:
- Export human-readable Excel / CSV spreadsheets of your income, expenses, and debts for personal records.
- Create full encrypted JSON backup files to transfer your books safely to a new phone.
- Permanently wipe all stored data at any time from the app's settings menu with zero cloud residual footprint.
4. Device Permissions Required
BizNote requests only the minimum operating system permissions strictly required for utility functions:
- Camera / Photo Library: Only used when you choose to take a photo of a physical bill, invoice, or receipt to attach locally to a transaction.
- File Storage / Downloads: Used solely to save exported CSV reports or backup files that you manually choose to create.
- Notifications (Optional): Used locally on your device to remind you to count the cash till at closing time or check pending debts.
5. Crash Reports & Diagnostics
Standard anonymous crash logs provided through Apple App Store or Google Play Store (such as OS version and stack traces) may be used to identify software bugs and prevent crashes. These system diagnostics never include any financial transactions, customer debt names, or monetary amounts.
